WTC investigation possible
Ground Zero
Former Port Authority chief George Marlin is seeking a federal investigation of the World Trade Center redevelopment plan, saying the delays and cost overruns may involve fraud. Marlin said the Port Authority may have misled investors about the timing and cost of the five towers and other developments. Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Governor David Paterson have started monthly meetings to discuss progress at Ground Zero and other developments.
