Sales weaken in Westchester



It's been a long summer for Westchester brokers. In June, sales fell by 31 percent compared to last year and brokers say they haven't picked up since then. In the second quarter, sales of single-family homes fell 27 percent compared to last year. Based on all residential sales during the year's first six months, 2008 would be the weakest year since 1994.
