The Upper East Side cooperative apartment of slain "broker to the stars" Linda Stein has been sold by her estate for $1.045 million.

On October 30 of last year, Stein, 62, was found dead in her 18th-floor apartment at 965 Fifth Avenue by one of her daughters. Stein's assistant Natavia Lowery was charged in the case, which is still pending.

Steven and Kathleen Carroll closed on the purchase August 8, according to property records published today.

Linda Stein lived in a one-nedroom, not a two bedroom.

Cheap, yes, but the buyers will be living in a Fifth Ave. murder apartment rather than a Fifth Ave. apartment.

Once I looked at a suicide apartment, although technically the previous owner died on the sidewalk below. That was also a deal.

Even if there was a murder or a suicide in the apartment, it seems awfully cheap for her apartment, which I am sure was a decent size.
