Developers attract more foreign buyers

As Wall Street layoffs mount, New York City developers are trying to attract more foreign buyers to support the housing market. The Moinian Group is increasing its advertising in Korean and Italian publications to bring in buyers for an apartment building, where already a quarter of sales has gone to foreign buyers. Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump recently held a press event reaching out to British buyers for their Soho Hotel project, and 10 percent of the units so far have sold to Britons.
