Brokers offer bike tours of homes

Some brokers are offering bicycle tours of homes, targeting buyers who are looking for bicycle-friendly neighborhoods because of high gas prices. The number of people who use bikes to commute to work jumped 28 percent between 2000 and 2006, according to the latest Census Bureau data. One Massachusetts broker said half of his 18 closings last year were because of the nearby bike trails.
