Subprime crisis leaves vacant homes open to squatters



Squatters and drug dealers are moving into homes left vacant by the subprime crisis. In Cleveland and its suburbs, there are more vacant homes than homeless people. In Queens, the problem of vacant homes has grown as foreclosures have skyrocketed in Jamaica, South Ozone Park and Rochdale.
